not a very long life eh.. nevertheless it was p fulfilling.. no faults since i first got it late 2002.. today, after finding out it would cost $1000 plus to put a new motherboard - it's like the cardiovascular system of the laptop - i decided it was prob more worth it to buy a new laptop.. so well after nearly three years, my Fujitsu Powerbook is officially dead..
oh well, the positive is to look for a good laptop under $2000.. not really in a hurry to look for a laptop and still thinking abt it.. obviously it would be v handy for studies and in the future when i travel around the world...
of coz my Fujitsu still could be fixed.. my dad's taking it back to Malaysia to fix coz it's cheaper there.. so could be a Lazarus story.. but even then, wouldn't have a laptop for a while, and it may be just as expensive to fix in Malaysia.. plus my mum needs a laptop for her work, although it's not that urgent yet..
taken the rugby approach today, so the day after exam was kinda cruisy.. like spending a day cooling down in the pool, and not doing much training.. did a bit of Pharmacology.. my next exam's Saturday week, so plenty of time.. rented and watched Upside of Anger(second time after watching it last night) and well like World's Fastest Indian and Garden State it was worth the wait..
it sounds like i have a knack for finding really good movies.. well dint get it right for Bewitched.. and there was once a run last year where i borrowed some really rubbish movies several consecutive times..
but Upside of Anger was one i wanted to watch for a while.. and yeah it's well written and potentially tear-jerking.. got v good performances by veterans Joan Allen and Kevin Costner, and also by 18-year-old Evan Rachel Wood, the girl from Thirteen and that Tommy-Lee-Jones-and-Cate-Blanchett-movie-where-she-got-kidnapped.. really loved it.. one of those movies u want to get on DVD..
seen quite a few movies this year.. here are the ones i rate in order:
1. World's Fastest Indian, 2. Upside of Anger, 3.Return of the Sith, 4.Garden State, 5.Man in the House..........last. Bewitched
(Finding Neverland was released in 2004, so doesn't count.. but definitely one of my favourites)

Garden State is Josephs' favourite move. It makes him want to marry Natalie Portman and have jedi babies.
