did ya know V for Vendetta is rated in IMDB's top 250 at #226?

it's possible i guess.. it's still a bit too new to call it an epic but it does have a very good story and strong and dark plot.. not sure if it's in the same class as Crash or Lord of the Rings or even Empire Strikes Back or Titanic.. but it is one of the better movies i've seen in recent times..

and i must say that Hoyt's service is very poor.. i got asked to turn off my phone even though it was silent.. strange.. anyway i went with Pierre and he enjoyed it too.. i'd definitely rate it as a worth-see if not only for a shaven Natalie Portman - and it makes sense why.. it's good that they picked Britain as the totalitarian power of the world, coz that's never gonna happen ever.. certainly the police won't be driving in MG Rovers in 2015 coz MG Rover died last year.. so it def feels like fiction..

i seem to like British media.. Blackadder, Not the 9 O'Clock News, Mr. Bean, French and Saunders, British Sky Broadcasting UK, English Premier League and i quite enjoyed this.. i'm prob closer to the Poms than the Australians.. i support the England football and cricket teams and the rugby teams if Australia is on the other side.. anyway even Natalie Portman seems to take up an English accent which was prob akin to Anthony Hopkins' Kiwi accent..

anyway Hoyts was packed on Friday night.. i hardly ever go out into town on Friday nights and i'm glad i don't.. in fact, Pierre and me got the last two seats in the 2nd from front row.. guess it was meant to be..

maybe they ask you to turn if of because the light form the screen is distracting even when in silent mode.

They checked my bag at Hoyts on Sat night, the first time Ive had that at Hoyts. They were looking for hot food, video cameras, or alcohol.
