why are the Sri Lankans so good at cricket??

sorry i was just complaining coz i'm confident but nervous about the cricket tonight..

anyway i've turned 21... how does it feel? well i won't really know until a few weeks down the line.. doesn't really feel much different yet.. although i have felt more differences this year ever since i started my full-time job.. now that has really opened my eyes coz most of the ppl i'm working with are actually much older than i am.. they're married, have partners, have children, have been there for ages.. so it's v different being amongst that company.. but they have been p nice to me so that's good..

too nice i guess.. when i went out for lunch break on Monday afternoon, some birdie must have told my team manager that today was my birthday because when i came back from lunch, she was wishing me happy birthday.. now i didn't really bother to tell anyone that it was my birthday.. just if they were asking what i was up to during the weekend.. but soon everyone in the office was wishing me happy birthday.. how did everyone know.. well as it turned out, my team manager had emailed everyone to let me know today was my birthday.. how embarassing!! well for me..

what a nice bunch of people..

anyway how was my 21st? it turned out much better than i thought actually.. it was held in my garage and all of the Elimers turned up which just shows how much i mean to Elim even if i say so myself.. i think there were abt 20-30 ppl crammed in my garage for my party.. had speeches, and my mum showed me when i was at the tender age of 5.. ahh.. can only happen once in ur life.. then i got out my violin when i wasn't quite thinking right - i had had a Tui and 1.5 Jim Beams.. how i got to play that was interesting..

what did i get for my 21st? well the best present of them all was.... an Apple iPod 80GB :) can't believe i lived without this for so long.. got a knife from Bevan, a Barbie from Esther - coz i like blondes - Jockeys from Dan, Europe travel book - that was from my list though.. got a lot of good gifts that's all i have to say :)
