when Arsenal don't play to their potential.. thank goodness i'm not one of their fans.. i'm just enjoying a football rennaisance which started when i came back to football-crazy Malaysia..it's so crazy that there is even a show called Football Crazy..

anyway since i don't want to look like a nerd looking at this BBC Sport Live Text screen of Sheffield United v Arsenal in St. David - as usual comps in the Link all taken :-I - so i'm just gonna blog a bit.. 3 mins to a penalty shoot-out.. and 19 mins to my next GENE 212 class in the Quad.. oh well penalties take less time than that.. even then, don't want to miss seeing the Gooners being Bladed.. (Gooners=Arsenal, Blades=Sheffield Utd).. it's amazing there hasn't been a civil war between West and North London all this time considering the rivalry between Chelsea and Arsenal..

anyway it's been a p quiet start to the academic year 05.. classes haven't really kicked off as yet.. not literally of coz.. just that we're covering material from last yr so there's a sense of familiarity there.. still feels a bit like a hol coz free in the evenings.. i still haven't gotten used to my timetable yet that's for sure.. although a rhythm will set in p soon for sure..

it's 11.48.. 12 mins to my class.. why am i still here.. oh right penalty shootout.. like those things only happen as often as a solar eclipse.. or an aurora australis.. anyway i can just run to the Quad.. considering the adrenaline pumping right now at the moment.. oh no Alan Quinn's missed for the Blades.. and Ljungberg puts his kick in and it's 3-2 to the Gooners.. or Goners.. come on Kenny! but Harley has missed.. are the Gooners home? Ashley Cole puts his Kick away and Arsenal win 4-2 on penalties.. bum.. but good performance by the Blades against the reigning Premiership champs.. and Arsenal are still in the Cup but Chelsea aren't :( and there's a smiling Bing in Wellington..
