it's good.. it's goooodd

Bruce Almighty

a very spiritual weekend by any standards.. and that's a p good thing.. was at the Zone on Friday and Saturday nights for the Get Smart night meetings.. add Sunday morning - and i must say the auditorium looks fantastic with the new arrangement and new stage.. just have to find a new Paddington or North Dunedin for the students.. which Sam and I have established to be way on the far right side of the auditorium.. let's see how long that'll last..

anyway HOLY POWER.. coz there was lots of it.. and the new Hillsongs songs from the latest album - which i'm v proud to say i own and purchased from Hillsongs Church, Baulkham Hills, Sydney itself - were really fantastic.. Tim Hall was v good speaker and at the end, there really was no one standing.. Andrew Kubala was v entertaining.. and u just have to be amazed by Andrew's testimony.. as a boy from little Gore he was diagnosed with leukaemia, but was miraculously healed and from that point he dedicated his life to God.. then one day, he got the idea to start what is now Get Smart.. and now he was given the chance to go to Los Angeles and Hollywood.. but looks like he may be turning that down to focus on turning around Aotearoa..

i think Get Smart was awesome, greater than the previous years.. perhaps the non-paying public dint quite feel the atmosphere the main auditorium got - the music team there led by Andrew Smith did a wonderful job as usual! - and hopefully this will change when Get Smart moves to the heady heights of the Regent Theatre in the Octagon.. that'll be 2,000 which pray will be reached.. just 10 times more and we'll need to borrow the Sydney Superdome!

my first weekend in Dunedin has been p good.. apart from Get Smart managed to do quite a few things, other than study which were p enjoyable.. slept in on Saturday and just did housework.. Sunday went to the Royal house for a mid-winter BBQ.. which turned out to be as good as one in summer.. there were quite a few ppl there actually.. all the Cutting Edgers but a few.. the blogger-then-ceroc crew..

so onto the 2nd week of classes.. just read up on my Biochem lab for tomorrow - which Dave Hawkes says could take up till 6, ugh.. keen to be more ready and interested in studies than last semester.. yes it's 27 points this semester but i'm determined to enjoy it.. coz really it's gonna be my life.. apart from being the next Martin Devlin - did ya read my article on Schappelle Corby in the Critic recently? which reminds me i could be in for a barrage of criticism tomorrow, but i stand by what i say..

and another week of being the bachelor alone at home.. should learn a new recipe.. something exciting like grasshoppers.. perhaps food cuisine is not as exciting as it seems.. for a layman that is.. this Thursday and Friday are mini-party-myself nights with the start of this year's much-hyped Ashes series at Lord's between England and Australia.. Thursday just gonna watch the morning session with some Speights and Friday could try and do a bit more of the avro..

that's when i kinda miss Australia's Channel 7.. apart from some gay personalities like Stuart MacGill (u're a spinner not a critic for the new season of 24) , the cricket starts like early on the evening and u can watch most of it through the night.. so straight from Home and Away into test match cricket.. not bad at all.. especially now that i know that Robbie and Tasha are married and Josie's left Summer Bay.. TV3 hurry up!!!

can't believe how many ppl actually watch Home and Away.. Janine Kubala, Christine Caine, Carmi, Alice, and well i don't really watch it unless i'm free but the ppl in there are beautiful.. although yeah like Neighbours and Shortland Street, the stories are slightly a bit unbelievable.. i'm of coz a CSI, Law and Order(Criminal Intent, SVU, original, not sure abt the 50 other franchises out there), House fan.. must be my scientific background eh..
