today is the last day of the summer hols..
tomorrow i have prelim lectures.. well i really only have 1-2.. def 1 at 11.30.. the other one, well not sure if i'll go coz it's only for one paper, but yeah prob, though it's at 3.30..
had fun tonight in the CCG tent.. it was quite boring for a while between 7 to 8.30 but managed to talk to heaps of freshies who were coming out from the Hypnotist show.. offered them free sausages and hot drinks coz it was freezing cold today.. cold, old Dunedin.. but we managed to give them some tracts and that's the whole point of the tent.. i really hope to get some freshies this year and maybe in my life group.. they'll make me feel younger..
i'm starting to get used to life as being one of the elder statesmen at Cutting Edge.. with Matt gone, i'm effectively in charge of 1 pm prayer.. that's kinda exciting..

Just want to encourage u as you prepare to lead 1pm prayer this year. Bring a real hunger to this task by deliberately reminding yourself of all the miracles you have heard and seen God doing. Then love him and prepare to pray like never before not because of what he has done but because of who these miracles demonstrate him to be. Hang out in Psalms for a bit and claim all the names of God, e.g. lion, mighty Warrior, fortress, rock etc until you feel your spirit start to lift with hope and motivation. God will equip u but decide now to make this year a year of faithful seeking...
