sad

well not really as sad as i felt when Matt finished visiting me at my place.. sad coz well won't see him for quite a while now coz don't know when i'm going up to Wellington again.. p expensive having to fly up there.. anyway it was a p good weekend when he came down...

starting on Thursday afternoon, went to see MI:3 -btw a def must-watch for 2006 - with the Poyntons and Brendon at Hoyts.

Friday, well dint really do much coz had to do my lab report but Matt did come to 1 pm prayer so it was quite a nice blast from the past.. oh btw i got 93% for my Pharmacology essay..

Saturday, had to do my lab report which was due on Monday - it seems all i do on Saturday mornings nowadays is writing lab reports.. but night time was party night.. had dinner with the Poyntons, Chan and Brendon at Lone Star and then went to Mel and Jane's 20th/21st at Isis Piano Bar.. heaps of ppl there i must say.. lots of the usual speeches of which i contributed but should prob have put more thought into..

Sunday, Matt came to visit me at my place.. had to leave church early coz had brother's birthday/mother's day lunch in chinese restaurant in South Dunedin at 11.30 in the morning - there was something on later during lunch time so it had to be 11.30 or none at all..

anyway, just feels hard to say goodbye to a friend whom u've known so well but is now no longer a frequent part of ya life.. i guess it's also hard when having gotten used to living without this friend for about 4 months, he comes down again for a short while and has to leave.. the hard bit i guess is just having to learn again how to live without that friend again just like ya have for the last 4 months.. of coz it's great having friends down from outstation.. the worst part though is when their brief tour is finished.. i guess that's the way it feels when my dad comes..

oh well i'll get over it.. but it was a wonderful weekend.. also enscapulated with a wonderful FA Cup Final and the fact that the Brumbies season is over and that the Waratahs aint gonna host the Super 14 final..
