FIFA WORLD CUP POST 4

i definitely have football fever.. my Circadian clock has definitely been messed up just to watch 22 men kick a spherical ball around a field.. oh well it's not just kicking.. it's tackling, competing and creating a masterpiece.. and it's only every 4 years..

well the weekend bonanza that is the opening round of the 2006 World Cup is almost over... conclusions:

Germany will be a force to be reckoned with..

so will Argentina..

England can be too but need a bit of finishing school..

Paraguay could easily finish 2nd..

especially if Sweden continue to squander goal scoring chances..

the Ivory Coast are definitely going to be practicing finishing..

Trinidad & Tobago are not going to be the easy whipping boys..

Poland risk becoming easy beats though..

Ecuador just need a few more bananas..

Riquelme has got to be one of the best non-Brazilian player..

Crouch could solve England's locking problems..

no wonder Arsenal missed Eboue for the UCL Final..

and finally,

de Germans do know how to put on a good show..

btw i'm gonna change the background colour of my blog for my favourite team who is playing each day..

so
dark red - England
orange - Holland
light blue - Argentina
yellow - Australia
blue - Italy
green - Brazil
dark blue - France
black - Germany/New Zealand
light red - Spain
