France v Switzerland at 4 am tonight.. will tape that..
can Togo upset the South Koreans? doubt it..
but can our Tasman big brother make the next round? perhaps, but despite all the things that Australian teams have done to New Zealand - and England - sporting psyche, i'm kinda hoping that the Aussies can pull it off.. my gut feeling says they will..
and there's something called State of Origin 2 on tomorrow night.. except got exam at 9.30 the following morning.. darn..
did anyone see House tonight.. p good episode i reckon.. as expected, i thought House was the agnostic but he almost got caught out.. i've been a bit cautious about "healers".. it's definitely a gift from the Holy Spirit but it is also a gift from the Devil.. not sure if that boy was a healer though.. sounds like having sex to heal someone else's tumour by giving that someone else ur Herpes is a bit off.. in fact, it sounds like the scripters were criticizing this whole healers thing..
strangely enough it's been a spiritual week on TV.. even Boston Legal got onto the spiritual stuff with that anti-contraception drug stance by this Catholic hospital.. Candice Bergen even had to look up the Bible and quote a few verses abt the Sabbath and the poison drinking to show that the hospital was being inconsistent.. her client won 2.7 million dollars coz of patient negligence by the hospital..
speaking of which, Sam, is it lawful for an employer to hire someone attractive for a job? Jared Clow asked me this today.. and he also got my finger clipped by a mouse-trap.. doesn't really hurt..

I believe the question "can you hire person x instead of person y because person x is attractive" would be a better one. And don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure that would be discrimination (possibly on grounds of "physical disability"! I'm not ugly, I'm 'aesthetically challenged).
Thing is, it's very hard to prove. In fact, tests have shown that in the vast majority of employment scenarios, attractiveness is ALWAYS a relevant factor, even if it's not consciously thought of as such.
