a personal rant

can't believe we're in exam season again.. time has flown by so fast this yr.. it's already 3 weeks since David Benson-Pope made my brother's school Bayfield High famous.. again.. just getting into the spirit of exams.. got my first one next Thursday.. Biochem.. have started reading up all my stuff.. p hard out.. 2nd Year is such a big step from 1st Year.. more interesting and more specialised but def more complex.. and to think university is meant to be the place where you study for fun.. not that i'm implying that i'm not having fun.. it's challenging though..

well had a very hectic Sunday.. prob the most hectic one i've ever had with Elim.. after service had to see Pastor Mike and Then about unfinished School of Leaders assignments.. and believe me i've got a years work to catch up.. but got the answers there and will prob start doing them after the exams and during the early weeks of next semester.. then after that, had to meet the Oscars team to talk abt this yrs Oscars.. got to get a trailer out soon.. didn't manage to meet anyone in church apart from Jack.. it was THAT busy.. but the weather was awesome though so that afternoon hit the driving range and found that i desperately need to buck up on my golfing skills...

speaking of golfing skills, had my missions interview with Dan, Carmi and (what's the Elim Missions Director's name?) i want to say that i think i'm in but i'm still a bit anxious.. i really really want to go to India and do the whole missions experience coz i think my life has been v smooth sailing so far.. i think to grow as a Christian further, i need to go out of my comfort zone and see how other Christians in other parts of the world, different culture, lifestyle etc. live and be more appreciative of how much God has blessed me, and also appreciate the work God has done in other parts of the world.. some anxious days until the end of the week.. i know it's all in God's hands.. it's just i really really want to go..

so it looks like my second semester is going to be as busy as the All Blacks.. def will have to make time for Missions, Oscars and of coz studies which has to be my main priority.. at present, still doing 3 9 point papers which according to Jess and Matt is A LOT.. but my labmate Tania is doing 4 9 point papers AND a 6 point paper.. i might drop one paper if it gets too much but we'll see what happens.. and then have to give Music classes.. i might have to think abt stopping that if it gets too busy.. have to sort out my time.. so many things to do.. that's when u savour quiet nights like this.. esp after ya done a hard night's worth of study..

finally, i've now got another blog at britishlions2005.blogspot.com.. as u can see it's a blog specially for the British Lions Tour of New Zealand and all my comments and feelings abt the biggest rugby tour ever.. trying to get more publicity for it coz there are hardly any blogs by the travelling Brits down here.. strange that it has to be done by one of them locals.. anyway i'll update it whenever there's something to talk abt..
