my first post of the new year

has been p quiet since New Year's Day.. my dad went back to Malaysia on New Year's Day and it rained in Dunners so that kinda sucked..

have been repainting the deck and the railings outside my house but it keeps getting interrupted by the weather.. so when it was raining - well today - i watched Bambi and that made me kinda sad.. it's got such nice music and it's just drawn so beautifully that u wonder why they haven't made a come back to this sort of classical, beautiful and elegant animation.. i watched Bambi when i was much younger all the time.. and it's still my favourite.. along with Fox and the Hound.. i guess Bambi and the Fox getting the lady is always my favourite bit..

not really the resolution sort of person, so no nothing there.. i guess just cut down on sport and try and enjoy the other aspects of life..

studies? well don't even know what papers i'm gonna take this year.. well not really.. i actually do have some idea but ah yeah, u know when ya a third year student, ya kinda know the system and realise they're p relaxed here.. just submitted my Honours form.. still hopeful despite not getting a letter.. i guess it works out both ways.. if i don't get in, i can still do a PostGrad Diploma and well that gives me a chance to go elsewhere.. if i do, then that's awesome.. not too worried but would be nice to get in even though i don't really know my chances.. God's got a plan.. but what i do want to do is Pharmacology, and ultimately i want to be a Doctor in Science..

anyway, still pondering whether i wanna go to Parachute at the end of this month.. i really got to be careful with how i spend my hard-earned money.. want to have a holiday in the North Island before uni so may incorporate Parachute and maybe visit Mike Reeves in Kaitaia - that'll be a big mish - or Joe in the Naki - that'll also be a big mish... try and get a few more jobs here and then earn my money there..
