anyway why did i write that thing about freedom yesterday? it was hardly Tennyson or George Bernard Shaw stuff.. but it meant something to me.. see i've had to make a lot of huge leaps of faith this year.. contact lens, finding a job, joining Les Mills, telling a girl at work i actually have feelings for her and being honest with it - that was yesterday in fact.. freedom for me is an objective thing.. if my heart isn't beating too fast or my stomach feels alright, i'm free.. if i'm not thinking abt it all the time, i'm free of it.. there are still many things in my life which i'm free of of which i'm not obliged to divulge for personal reasons but this year freedom has been the one common feature of some of the challenges i've faced this year..

i should have said one more thing -

freedom makes a boy a man..

anyway what have i got planned for Easter? driving down to Invercargill with Chris, Bibs, Jacqui, Pierre, Dan, Kev, Andrea where we'll join up with the rest of the Macdonalds and head off to Stewart Island for the whole weekend.. it should be a beaut.. well not the weather but it should be good times.. i'll bring my bible.. no not the usual bible.. but "the bible".. well it feels like one of those old bibles with the Roman letters..
