have had such a great morning.. 1 o'clock prayer was awesome today.. we had 4 ppl today - Dan Joe, Bibs, Matt and me - but God's presence was so keenly felt it was incredible.. i love it when we can pray with so much power and conviction from the Holy Spirit that u don't really wanna stop.. it was awesome.. we prayed for revival in the campus and we got a lot of visions abt what God wants to do not only in Dunedin but all over NZ.. the Holy Spirit def put words into our mouths.. and i got a picture of seeing more Cutting Edgers and Christians from Elim coming to 1 o'clock prayer and u know having a new and exciting experience every day at 1..
it was q simple actually.. but one of the things i've enjoyed the most abt Cutting Edge over the past three years is all of us CEers from the guys like Bing, Dan, the Daves, Sam to gals like Bibs, Jess, Mel, Becs or Abbey, standing around in a circle and engaging in prayer during a Sunday lunch or camp or other cool CE-related events... coz there was always a sure guarantee of fireworks, i.e. visions from God, growing faith etc.. and i just thought wat if that happened everyday for 1 pm prayer? then the revival in this city and this country would surely come to pass much quicker than we think deep inside..
to less "holier" things LOL, i think i can say i've reached the age of Aquarius when it comes to talking to gals.. with 17 days to go before i turn 19, i decided to be bold, be a bit more short-termist - as in it doesn't really matter if she doesn't warm up to me, but at least i know i've done it and dint make myself look like a fool too much - and just talk to random gals in my class or in the Link when i'm not doing other stuff... well there was that gal Claire in the Link where i just used the changing course pickup line..
today, used the have ya started ya Stats project pick up line, and talked to this gal with long blond hair who i kinda have a crush on - haven't told her that of coz.. she said no, then she asked what i was doing for my project and i explained my idea.. then asked her what other papers she was doing and found out she was doing Stats and Physio.. then she asked me what i was doing.. then a brief pause, then said "Oh my name's David" and found out her name was Hanna/h.. then asked whether she was flatting.. which she was and she told me she was from Dunedin.. i replied i live in Dunedin too.. then asked her which school she went to, and she said Otago Girls High..
so that was that.. and by now u would have noticed that i've written in chronological order.. of coz i'm not looking at anything serious until it does.. but it's kinda a morale and confidence booster.. kinda like when ya score a try for the first time, or when ya hit ya first boundary in a cricket game, or when ya get ya first A of they year..
anyway i've really got to start working on my BIOC 211 report which is due tomorrow.. ttul
afterword: for my disbelieving Bing, some pics to prove that V-poly has started in Otago.. look right..
