something smells of garlic

it's 4 to 1 in the morning and i'm.........watching Friends.. have had an awesome day.. Matt's 21st, Star Wars Ep III.. well first things first, in STAT 251, we had to talk with the person next to ya abt how to design this experiment to test the acute effects of a drug on our canine friends.. it was one of those in-class activities to show confounding effects of time and space.. and i did it with Hanna! which was good :) i've had so many opportunities to break the ice, like walking in the same direction, etc. but just felt too shy.. I KNOW!! anyway we just talked abt controls and treatments for this experiment.. then later after the discussion asked her abt her project.. and that was that.. it's like scoring from the penalty spot.. she's got a lovely smile and with a bright blond hair it's like Goldilocks..

Star Wars Ep III: Return of the Sith.. well i'll come out and say it's prob the 2nd best Star Wars movie if not the best behind Empire Strikes Back.. prob a tie for 2nd with Return of the Jedi.. but it just complements everything we've known abt Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader.. although ultimately it was a v tragic movie.. thankfully there's such a movie as Star Wars : The New Hope.. the only gripe i guess was having Darth Vader kill the younglings which in the present climate prob may be considered gruesome.. but i guess there needed to be a sense of realising how evil evil was.. u know Lucas and Speilberg.. speaking of Spielberg can't wait for War of the Worlds starring my favourite actor Tom Cruise! or Mr and Mrs Smith with Brad Pitt..

finally to Matt's 21st.. v understated but enjoyable party.. the crowd gradually built up over the night and although i seemed to be involved in 3 of the speeches but it was p good.. i was kinda worried i might cause tension by saying in my speech that Matt was my best friend in NZ .. but that's the truth.. he's been such a good friend and life group leader for the last year and the one guy friend i can share my problems, spiritual or guy-related.. i've got this other guy in Malaysia called Tung Jin who i consider to be my best friend there and still is one of my best friends and prob the only person i'd keep contacting for a long time.. the garlic bit was funny though.. shame we dint see Matt's flock-of-eagles hairstyle or any other kiddy pics.. but it was still a 21st in essence.. also took lots of photos having been asked to do so by Louise..

and sorry guys who i asked for hair photos.. apart from Rachel, Stevo and Andrea, most of them dint really turn out.. decided to go to long hair website and pick out photos and turns out i'll prob use all of them coz it forms quite a good spectrum to compare dark hair and light hair.. for those of ya not in the know, i have to design an experiment - or should i say study - for STAT 251, and i decided to see whether there was a relationship between hair colour and eyesight quality amongst Caucasians and whether Asians genetically had bad eyesight.. and i need pictures of diff hair colours to show how i scored my samples for hair colour.. i mean i could easily consider Jared Brown's hair to be dark from afar even if he claims his hair to be light.. and likewise Rachel.. and btw Stevo naturally has brown hair.. did take Malcolm's hair coz he dyed it blonde.. but dint really turn out.. to me.. should have taken Hanna's coz she's a real blonde..

anyway more on that study some other time.. apparently i've got a MTB ride in Swampy Summit at 10 tomorrow.. then will try and find Sam in the graduation march.. his aura will help me..
