bad news - my summer hols are over :(
good news - i only have one class to start off tomorrow :)
i also scored my first hat-trick of tries at touch this avro..
first one... was a dive at the line through a gap in the defence on the 5th and penultimate play..
second one.. well Dave Cameron, a freshie who came to Elim for the first time today, broke the defence and passed to me just before the try line.. i had yelled for the ball coz i thought he was playing from dummy-half and dummy-halves couldn't score.. not sure if he was in fact..
third one and the hat-trick try.. the best of them all.. skipped Wai's tackle first, then stepped away from Pierre and ran a short distance to the try line..
gee the weather was v hot today.. prob 25'C.. so decided after touch to head off to the beach and have a bit of a swim/surf.. and what a great idea.. and i don't mean sarcastically..
how was church today? well it was packed and noisy! back to the usual self.. and there were quite a few freshies.. caught up with Stewart, this Scottish guy who was on exchange.. talked loads of rugby.. actually had met him at touch last Sunday and i supposed Dan or one of the other guys had talked to him about Elim.. he enjoyed service so that's p good eh.. anyway it was obviously quite convenient then that we could promote Cutting Edge's first event, Pete's Cafe next Wed and the following Thurs..
even better news - my class doesn't start till 11 tomorrow..

yeah yesterday was awesome weather, I feelt like going for a swim but didnt in the end, didnt realise you guys went to the beach, I watched endless summer 2 instead. Maybe I will come play touch with you guys some more this year.
oh actually it was just me who went to beach
